The owner parking program was updated in the Fall of 2022 and new parking permits were disseminated to reflect the Village name change, to better serve all the different needs of our ownership and for ease of enforcement. The old Village at Squaw Valley Owner permits are no longer valid after November 15, 2022.
Per the CC&Rs, each Residential Unit, regardless of size, shall have the right to use one unassigned parking space within the P1 parking level. (See CC&Rs, pg.61, Article 10:15 Vehicles and Parking.) This is not a new policy. While there may be days or periods of low occupancy where we can accommodate a 2nd vehicle, we ask that you respect and comply with the black out periods and various permit types.

Owner Responsibilities
Make sure all owner and guest vehicles have a valid and visible permit at all times, when parked in the Village garage. If not displayed, your car will be stickered for violation and a fine may be incurred.
Only one Condo Permit or Rental Permit can be used per unit during black out periods and high occupancy. Additional Vehicle Permits may not be used during these times.
You may not park a vehicle or otherwise use any parking space when not utilizing your Residential Unit. This includes when your unit is rented or being utilized by friends or family.
It is the responsibility of all Owners to inform any guests of this parking policy and to supply the applicable permit.
If a permit is lost or stolen, please notify PVNC immediately by emailing parking@palisadesvnc.com for a replacement. A fee of $10 for each permit will be invoiced to the Residential Unit Owner.
Email parking@palisadesvnc.com with all parking related questions.
Each Private Owner and 3rd Party Rental Owners will receive one Condo Permit. The permit can be transferred between vehicles, as the number on the permit correlates with your Residential Unit. This permit is for the owner to use when using their unit and should be disseminated to any family members, non-rental guests of the owner and any long term renters (longer than 30 days). Please inform PVNC of any long term scenarios.
Upon written request to parking@palisadesvnc.com, each Private Owner and 3rd Party Rental Owner can receive one Additional Vehicle Permit. This permit correlates with the blue Condo Permit for ease of enforcement and can only be used by Owners and their guests during periods of low occupancy and non-black out periods (as highlighted on page 3.) This permit should not be disseminated to any rental guest. Yellow Additional Vehicle Permits are not valid for parking in the P2 level.

Additional Vehicle Parking When Occupancy is Below 80% and Non Black Out Dates
Additional vehicles will be permitted to park within the P1 level.
This option is available to all parking users, if the duration of stay falls within non black out dates and while we are under 80%, with an applicable and visible permit.
Allowable Permits: Yellow Permit, a 2nd Orange Rental Permit or temporary gray permit issued by PTH
Email parking@palisadesvnc.com to inquire about Occupancy Levels within 7 days of the arrival date.
Additional Vehicle Parking When Occupancy is Above 80% or During Black Out Dates
In order to ensure the use of one unassigned parking space per unit, no additional vehicles will be permitted to park within the P1 level.
This restriction applies to all parking users.
Depending on availability, additional vehicles may be accommodated in the P2 level of the garage or alternative parking areas. Visit the PTH Front Desk with proof of ID and/or a reservation confirmation and they will assist you.
These additional parking areas are operated by Palisades Tahoe Resort and are not PVNC property.
A parking fee of $35 per day, per additional vehicle, will be charged by PTH to accommodate Owners and their guests. A P2 permit, that will be disseminated by the Front Desk, is required. This is free for Rental Management Owners.
Upon written request to parking@palisadesvnc.com and confirmation that the owner is collecting and submitting the required 2% Civic Fee to PVNC, these permits will be provided to 3rd Party Rental Owners and/or agent, to disseminate to their own short term rental guests (under 30 days). Only one Rental permit can be used at a time in P1 during black out periods and high occupancy and these permits can not be used in conjunction with a blue or yellow Condo Permit. A 2nd Rental permit can be provided by the owner, to a guest during non black out dates and periods of low occupancy, upon advanced confirmation and approval by PVNC.
The Palisades Tahoe Hospitality (PTH) Front Desk will supply PTH Rental Management Owners, PTH Rental Management Guests and any non-rental Guest of a PTH Rental Management Owner with one temporary white permit that correlates with the reservation number for their first vehicle to be parked on the P1 level for the duration of their stay upon check-in. PTH will supply a 2nd permit for additional vehicles, outside of any blackout period or during low occupancy periods.
This winter Palisades Tahoe, has introduced Reserve N Ski, a reservations-based parking plan for weekends and holiday periods in all of their surface level parking lots.
Village at Palisades Tahoe owners DO NOT have special access to park in the ski resort parking lots during periods when the reservation system is operating.
There is no change to how Village at Palisades owner parking for the underground garage works, and no reservations are required to park in the underground garage.
Visit parkpalisadestahoe.com for complete information and to make a reservation for the resort surface parking lots.
